Ooooh lala! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!

Yesterday I received the most beautiful antique mohair in the mail.  It is over 100 years old and it's all I can do to NOT use it ... yet!   I'm working on a small sale Gallery of bears that is supposed to debut on Sunday (it's looking more like Tuesday now!)  and I keep telling myself I have to finish the Gallery bears before I allow myself to "play" with the antique mohair ... b-u-t, it is sooo tempting!   I must remove it from the sewing room so I am not distracted while I work on the Gallery bears!   xoxo

  1. That antique mohair is lovely to work with and I made a few bears from pieces that I had. If you do not mind me asking where did you get your pieces from?? I am tempted to make another bear or two but have no more left.
Take care and have a good weekend.

  5. Lol, nothing like the exquisite torture of having to finish one project before moving on to the next!

  7. Hi! It seems quite late for my reply on this issue, As i remembered last time in Hugglets, many people went to her shop for choosing their favourite antique mohair, i was late and got a piece of cool green, it's a narrow pieces, not allowed to make mistake!
I know there is another supplier in Europe who sell antique mohair too, she is Roswitha Cleve, did anyone know how to contact with her?

  8. Hi Susana, I don't know of her but through a google search, I found this email address:
ernstholl@t-online.de The ad was in German - you may need to use google translate to send her an email :O) Good luck! I think Norbeary still has quite a bit left but not a huge assortment of colors - Hugs, Janice
