Some Vintage Easter Postcards to share!

I was going through a desk drawer looking for some old editing software I used to use (and love and lost with the computer crash).  I know at one point I had a disk of that software but I can't seem to find it!  The company is no longer in business, so I am at my Sister's mercy (I'm praying she still has her original disk :o)  If you try to copy the software rather than upload from the original disk, it goes in to sample mode which is no fun at all!  In all of my digging, I came across an old disk that had some vintage Easter postcards on it and I thought they were too beautiful not to share!   I hope you have a Blessed and Happy Easter.  Enjoy!   Lots of hugs,   Janice

Puppy Prototype for new Pattern!

Little Tototoo was designed with the idea of offering an easy Puppy Pattern among my available patterns for sale.  This week is dedicated to a Gallery Showing I plan to have Sunday (yikes, it may be postponed until next Sunday at this rate...) and to doing the dreaded taxes!   But, hopefully next week Tototoo's pattern will be available in my etsy shop and on my website.   If you are interested in the pattern, please check my website @  http://www.BoohBears.com  next week!   Have a blessed day!
Many hugs,  Janice

I think (?!) I am FINALLY done revamping my website!

It's been a l-o-n-g slow process but I think (I think?!!) I am finally done revamping the "Booh Bears" website.  It was truly a labor of love and a joy to step back in time and find old photos of bears who have long left my hands and heart and made their way in to anothers.    The one page I am not sure about at all is the very long (7 minutes) slideshow of bears adopted prior to 2012.   I really enjoyed the slideshow, but that is because I was the person who created all those little ones!   It may be different for the normal arctophile just browsing websites!   If you have a moment to peek, I would surely appreciate honest feedback.  Thank you ever so much!   Hugs, Janice    New Booh Bears Revamped Website - Final (I think)!!

Best Strawberry Banana Smoothie Ever!

I know this is not bear related but it is Mom related!  My Mom was such an adventurist when it came to cooking, baking, food making of any sort.  She would be proud of me, I'm sure, for my latest recipe for a really good and healthy smoothie!  I finally mastered the Strawberry Banana Smoothie after several months of trying many different versions.   It goes like this ... 6 ice cubes; 1.5 cups of Dairy Free Soy Vanilla Ice Cream, 1 Quart of Organic Strawberries; 2 Medium Size Organic Bananas; 1 Packet of Gerber Organic Baby Food - Strawberry Banana Flavor;  1 Packet of Gerber Organic Baby Food - Apple Mango Strawberry Flavor.  Put on Pulse until the ice cubes are cracked in to small pieces, then put on crush for about 30 seconds then on blend for another 30 seconds.   OH MY GOODNESS ... Heaven on Earth!     The two baby food flavors add just the perfect zing to the fresh strawberries and bananas.   I use a Ninja 1200 watt professional series blender but I'm sure any smoothie making blender would work.   The next post will be about a bear related subject!  :o)   I'm finishing up a tiny little bunny and should be able to photograph her tomorrow!   Hugs,  Janice
