Today marks the Seventh Anniversary of my LAST chemotherapy treatment for Breast Cancer and I feel SO blessed! It is God who brought me through it and it is God who continues to lead me day to day. I took this picture in Ouray, Colorado and thought it was the perfect backdrop to share God's word. This beautiful plant with pink flowers - rising towards the Sun - taking root along a broken down old fence. God provides hope and a future for all who choose to believe.
Have a blessed day! I'm off to do my annual dance in the street! xxxx

Congrats, happy dancing! I'm gearing up to go down to see a dear friend who had breast cancer last year, got the all clear, and then a month or two later got the devastating news that she has bone cancer and other secondary cancers. We're trying to make her days as happy as we can right now.
ReplyDeleteOh Katy, I am so very, very sorry for your friend. Bless you for visiting her and making her days as happy as possible. Prayers for your friend as she battles her bone and other cancers. xxxx

DeleteDear Janice,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful blessing! God is so good. It has been a year since my mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy. We still find it hard to deal with, but God's grace carries us every day.
May your "anniversary" be a blessed one.
My prayers are with your Mother. I'm so glad that you are allowing God to carry you through this difficult time. Blessings to your Mom, you and the rest of your family. Lots of hugs, Janice
