I have had so much fun being able to work on bears a bit more these past few weeks and when I am working, occasionally I get an urge to deviate from my "norm". Tootsie is certainly one of those instances where I deviated from my norm. I love antiques and I love distressed artist bears but I don't make them very often. I had this beautiful antique tulle net lace that I picked up at a local doll show a few weeks ago and it just screamed "tutu"! Being that the tulle lace has definitely seen better days, I thought it would make a cute scruffy tutu for a little distressed bear. I started with Anna Tsymbal's tummy pattern because it is so cute and fat and looks like a chubby ballerina tummy ;o) I then designed all the other parts around the tummy. When Tootsie was finished, I thought she looked like a little lamb, so I made her a tail! Not sure if she's a bear or a lamb but here she is! I hope you like her as much as I liked making her! Have a beautiful weekend! Hugs & Blessings, Janice

New Little Booh Bear
One evening I was watching t.v. and I had an idea of designing a little lying down bear. I jumped up, got my scissors and paper and started cutting out the pattern as I saw it in my mind. Little Kathryn is the result of that idea. There are a few changes I will make to her pattern before making her again, but the idea is exactly what I had in mind!
Have a wonderful week!

New Baby Booh will be Available on my Website Wed. March 19th at 7:30 a.m. Mountain Time!
Since I've been back from Michigan, I have finished two Booh's - although the first one was already done except for her face :o) I've been able to spend a lot more time creating which is great! I am really enjoying being able to sit and sew! Today I finished a Baby Booh - she's another new design and I love how she turned out. Dara is made of vintage shaggy Schulte German mohair. Her little romper is made of antique linen tea towels. She will be available for adoption directly from my website on Wednesday morning, March 19th at 7:30 a.m. Mountain Time. I hope you'll stop in to pay her a visit in the morning by clicking on this link ... Dara's Web Page
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Janice
