Another remake of one of my older patterns! This latest little girl was made from a piece of mohair that I acquired in a trade with a lady from Germany about 10 years ago. While going through my small pieces mohair stash a couple weeks ago, I happened upon two scraps that I acquired from this lady and was so happy to see them! I've yet to see any mohair like this in the U.S. - it is white underneath with gold tips. The mohair itself is rather sparse but it is fuzzy which makes it appear dense. So unique and pretty! "Merigold" is made from one of the scraps and the other scrap is tan with brown tips, so a tiny puppy will come from that. Merigold's original pattern is my "Sophia" (available in my etsy Shop) with a few changes to the head, arms and legs. I hope you will take a peek at Merigold's page once it goes live at 11:00 a.m. Phoenix, AZ time today! If you click on the following link, it will take you to her page and there will be a world clock link which will tell you what time she goes live in your corner of the world! Have a lovely day! DIY Wild Bird Feeder Hanger (taking a Bear Break)!
This weekend has proven to be a letdown in the bear making department, so I decided to take a break and make something for my bird feeders! I have a couple hummingbird feeders that were hanging from my tree with red ribbons. The ribbons faded and it looked terrible. I was going to take a trip to the store and buy some hangers but as I was doing laundry, I decided to try to make my own from a couple Dry Cleaner's hangers. It was so simple and they turned out great! Here is a picture tutorial showing how easy it is to make! I'm not sure if this will hold a lot of weight but it works great for my hummingbird feeders!
I hope you have a lovely Sunday! Back to the bears for me! Hugs & Blessings, Janice

Finished a Yorkie Puppy from my Moxy Fox Pattern
For those of you who sew, you know changing fabric and making a few changes to a pattern, you will achieve a completely different look. I love the size and shape of my "Moxy Fox" pattern, so I decided to revise it and make a little Yorkie dog. The fabric I purchased is not what I had in mind (though I did find the right fabric in my stash after searching this past weekend...after it was too late and I had already cut the pup from my ordered fabric). Anyway, I do think she turned out cute and even though her coloring is more gold than the tan I was hoping for, I think with her airbrushed accents, she looks enough like a Yorkie to call her one! Her name is Bindy and she is currently on eBay. Click Here to go to Bindy's eBay Auction - ends Thursday morning!
Below is the Moxy Fox Pattern Revised to make Bindy!
Have a wonderful week and if you are creating, try making some changes to a pattern you have used before to see what you come up with!
Hugs & Blessings,
Janice
