Okay, I've fallen off the beaten path the past few days! I dearly love bear making but I also love other creative outlets, as well. I have been playing on pinterest quite a bit lately and finding some beautiful one of a kind doll pictures ... well, this one doll just touched my heart and I had to use her picture. This is not something I would sell because the doll was made by someone else but I had fun playing with the picture! If anyone out there knows who the artist is, I would love to contact her (him) and ask if it's okay for me use their photo for my personal "fun"! Okay, I must really get back to the beaten path now...Ahhhhh, it is well with my soul!!
And the wonderful last verse:--
ReplyDeleteAnd Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.
Hugs
Oh I think we all need to stop and have fun some times, enjoy :o)
ReplyDeleteYes, Marti! Such a lovely old hymn <3 Thanks, Katy! I am enjoying it! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI do love this sad sweet little doll. I saw her too floating around. They saying you put here is perfect.
ReplyDeleteIsn't she beautiful, Joanne? I'm so happy you like the old hymn verse that I chose to go with her. It's all I can do to get back to bears, my heart keeps wanting to wander off! Hugs, Janice
ReplyDeleteShe it is just amazing!
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew who the artist was, Alena! Would love to see her blog! Hugs, Janice
ReplyDeleteHi Janice,
ReplyDeleteI am trying to rack my brain. I think it might be a very talented Russian doll maker. I remember seeing a picture of her stall at a show just before Christmas and was blow away. I could be wrong.
hugs
Kay
Thanks for trying to think of who it is, Kay! I appreciate it! I'll do a search for Russian doll makers and see if I can figure it out that way ... at least it narrows it down! xoxo
